MALCOLM HOLT MBA FCA - Chairman
Malcolm co-founded Cabot Aviation in 1998, having experienced many years in aircraft trading and leasing. As Chairman of Cabot Aviation he has been involved in a wide variety of aircraft leases, purchase and sales and financings. His early career was as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst and Young and following an MBA at Cranfield in 1977, he moved into financial and commercial management, eventually entering the aviation industry

TONY WHITTY - Chief Executive Officer
Tony co-founded Cabot Aviation in 1998 having graduated from Brighton University in 1988 with an Honours degree in Business Studies and commenced his career in aircraft marketing in 1990. For more than fifteen years Tony has been based in Europe and in the USA and has achieved considerable success in aircraft marketing acting for a variety of airline and financial clients. His experience includes success in many different wide and narrow-bodied jet and regional and commuter turbo-prop aircraft types.


GREG COPE - Senior Vice President
In an aviation industry career spanning over 30 years, Greg has been involved in airport and airline operations as well as the marketing and sales of commercial and corporate aircraft, their engines, components and services for several OEMs including British Aerospace, Raytheon, Fairchild Dornier and Rolls-Royce. Having lived and worked successfully in many parts of the world, Greg brings a wealth of experience to Cabot Aviation and its projects.

 

CHARLEY CLEAVER - Senior Vice President, North America
Charley, Cabot Aviation’s North America representative, has been a lessor, senior officer at engine and airframe manufacturers, and vp/treasurer at the tenth largest US airline since entering the sector in 1985. Having been a seller for aircraft and engine manufacturers, purchaser for a major airline, and structured many different types of aircraft financings around the world, Charley brings valuable experience to Cabot’s clients, from turboprops to widebody aircraft.



MATS ZIEMNIACK - Regional Vice President, Latin America
A Swedish national with a long and far-reaching experience of aviation in Latin America, his industry career covers over 25 years with airlines and leasing companies. Mats has been involved in numerous successful aircraft lease and sale transactions and airline consultancy projects over the years. Being fluent in Spanish plus his knowledge of both operator and lessor/seller requirements in an aircraft business deal are key elements to closing transactions in a professional and timely manner.



HOWARD RICHARDSON - Vice President
After his first career as a Navigation/Warfare specialist in the Royal Navy, Howard has been in senior roles in marketing in the British defence industry and latterly in commercial aircraft marketing. Prior to joining Cabot, he started his aviation marketing career with a major remarketing company and worked in their UK and US offices.

ALEXANDER BABIS - Regional Vice President, Russia and CIS
Originally from Russia, Alex has been based in the UK for the past 16 years. He has worked with regulatory authorities in Russia and other CIS countries, and in the last few years has concentrated on placing wide and narrow body aircraft acting on behalf of both western lessors and Russian airlines. Fluent in Russian Alex brings to Cabot an in-depth knowledge of many operators and financial institutions in Russia and other CIS countries which is extremely useful given the number of western manufactured aircraft being acquired in that region.

Vincent Lam – Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific
Vincent has over 13 years of aviation industry experience and established the Singapore office of Cabot Aviation in 2009 to focus on aircraft remarketing within the Asia Pacific region. He has transacted in over $2 billion worth of aircraft deals in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and USA from sales & leaseback, debt finance, aircraft trading and tax-based structured products. From 2005 to 2009, he was with the aviation finance team at Standard Chartered Bank, working closely with their in house aircraft lessor Pembroke. He has also worked with Macquarie AirFinance, Bank of America Leasing, and DVB Bank in The Netherlands. He holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Cambridge in UK
